Tenthing Brass in Germany – A tip!
A special musical highlight could be on 28 and 29.3. Experience 2014 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein Feierabendhaus of BASF. On both nights the ensemble Tenthing Brass from Norway was under the direction of Tine Thing Helseth each a sold-out concert.
The ten ladies wowed the audience with their skills, their enthusiasm and not least because of their attractiveness. Only the moderation they left it in many parts of Bob Ross, conductor and entertainer of the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra and the Brass ensembles “Blechschaden” led relatively freely translated and with its special Scottish humor through the evening.
On the 90 minute concert program then stood, among other pieces by George Bizet, Edvard Grieg, Benny Andersson, Astor Piazola and Paul Mc. Cartney. We started the first Part of the concert with an excerpt from the opera Carmen by George Bizet and then sat down with a suite of here but not as yet known continued very beautiful pieces by Edvard Grieg.
